Davis Oduor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilio Ntalami. Walthamstow's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Antônio Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Walthamstow's Emilio Ntalami got control of the ball when Moses Syombua tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Zimbo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Africa United FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Zimbo. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Quaresma couldn't finish the play.

Bwana Wangeci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Trifon Haydushki made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Quaresma came free, but Emilio Ntalami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
