Spectators: 9000 (Terracing: 6750, Seating: 2070, VIP seats: 180) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Malcolm Manyim kicked off to start the match. Tony Asati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Manyim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Malcolm Manyim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mufasa FC's Tony Asati. Tony Asati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nairobi Soccer Stars's Malcolm Manyim got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nairobi Soccer Stars's Curtis Mwaura in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mufasa FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Joseph Ekombe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Wilson Chuma Munji reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josephat Githongo. The goal made the score 1-1. After 31 played minutes Nairobi Soccer Stars got a freekick which was hit by Njeri Wangila. Tony Asati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curtis Mwaura's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Tony Asati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Manyim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mufasa FC booed when Nairobi Soccer Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Lagat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mufasa FC's Sammy Khadudu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nairobi Soccer Stars. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wilson Chuma Munji made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Manyim got free with Tony Asati in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Curtis Mwaura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nairobi Soccer Stars's Malcolm Manyim got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Waheto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Nairobi Soccer Stars's Malcolm Manyim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Asati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Curtis Mwaura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Asati having to make a save. Curtis Mwaura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tony Asati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Curtis Mwaura fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tony Asati, passed just outside the right post. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Curtis Mwaura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 89th minute, Titus Origi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Malcolm Manyim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Ekombe took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josephat Githongo. Josephat Githongo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nairobi Soccer Stars were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
