Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patrick Alfie made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Team Name getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Controller Biwott hit a great ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Name's goalkeeper Christopher Leakey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Okayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Christopher Leakey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Leakey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Ngeny in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Team Name's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dan Okayo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 19 in the game by Dan Okayo from a close distance when the talented Christopher Leakey managed to make a qualified save. Team Name's players were relieved. Mohinda Okoth struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Joseph Sang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Name. In the 24th match minute, Team Name was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Israel to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Cyrus Kipsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antony Ngeny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Mohinda Okoth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Penzance's Joseph Sang. Joseph Sang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Team Name defense, Dan Okayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Leakey. The Team Name fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Leakey should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute of the match Penzance got a corner. Team Name's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lepirei Lukoye ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Penzance's Lepirei Lukoye to fire away a dangerous shot which Christopher Leakey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Patrick Alfie hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Team Name's Christopher Leakey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Ngeny in the 57th minute of play. Dan Okayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Team Name's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Ngeny came free, but Christopher Leakey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohinda Okoth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Sang having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Antony Ngeny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penzance's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Ngeny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Leakey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Alfie scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Sang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Penzance's Joseph Sang got control of the ball when Mohinda Okoth tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Paul Mwaura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penzance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Name the free kick. Patrick Alfie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute.
