Martin Bryden's late challenge caught a Windsor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, acmilan's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Deacon came free, but Marcus Walsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andy Deacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andy Deacon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcus Walsh was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Victor Tucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Ty Knightley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Windsor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave acmilan the free kick. A collision led to Windsor getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ty Knightley hit a great ball. When Steve Fieldwick fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored acmilan's protests and gave Steve Fieldwick a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, acmilan's Steve Fieldwick got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Deacon in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Walsh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Andy Deacon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Walsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Windsor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
