Ruben Shaltiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jericho Reshef in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Gabe Pereire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tel Aviv Fc's Ruben Shaltiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jericho Reshef in the 35th minute of play. When Dan Agron fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tel Aviv Fc's protests and gave Dan Agron a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tel Aviv Fc's Dan Agron got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nathan Hirsch might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naftaly Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jericho Reshef to make the kick off. Jericho Reshef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Shaltiel having to interfere. Tel Aviv Fc's Ruben Shaltiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tel Aviv Fc from getting a goal against them. Shefer Gamber charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shefer Gamber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes FC Ashquelon got a freekick which was hit by Shefer Gamber. After 57 played minutes, Tel Aviv Fc's Dan Agron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Naftaly Franco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tel Aviv Fc reached it. Nathan Hirsch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naftaly Franco having to make a save. Duby Luzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Shaltiel having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Tel Aviv Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jericho Reshef came free, but Ruben Shaltiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avisar Shanti during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
