Polotsk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nazmi İlhanoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Tolochin's Nazmi İlhanoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladislav Savelov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 13 minutes, Chudi Dlugi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tolochin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chudi Dlugi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladislav Savelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chudi Dlugi in the 16th minute of play. Vladislav Savelov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Sebih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Polotsk's goalkeeper Vladislav Savelov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duran Sebih. Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danila Plashkevich went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. FC Tolochin's Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Zakharov in the 22nd minute of play. Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danila Plashkevich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Duran Sebih made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Polotsk's Vladislav Savelov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktor Zakharov fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 33rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The audience was convinced that Danila Plashkevich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Vladislav Savelov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ovidio Balasi. The supporters of FC Tolochin booed when Polotsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mscislav Naumovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duran Sebih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Aristide Hurmuzescu got free in front of the goal in the 59th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vladislav Savelov was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Chudi Dlugi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polotsk's Vladislav Savelov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 78 played minutes Polotsk got a freekick which was hit by Danila Plashkevich. In the 95th minute Viktor Zakharov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danila Plashkevich struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Aleksandr Dzerzhinsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polotsk. Polotsk's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Tolochin had won, even though Polotsk had held more of the ball.
