After the first half FORTALEZA were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radislav Lisik in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xorxe Viguera saved FORTALEZA from getting behind. Hamdullah Özerdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Semen Ramashevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, MineralnyeVody FC's Semen Ramashevich got control of the ball when Pascal Nouma tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Kavalionok in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Radislav Lisik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xorxe Viguera.
