The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gia Andrzheevskiy helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave East Cowes a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sachino Londaridze, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marske-by-the-Sea's Vaja Sulakvidze. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sachino Londaridze in the 12th minute of play forced Marske-by-the-Sea's goalkeeper Vaja Sulakvidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaja Sulakvidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marat Pulishvili, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Marske-by-the-Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Sachino Londaridze came free, but Vaja Sulakvidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaja Sulakvidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sachino Londaridze in the 31st minute of the match. When East Cowes's Sachino Londaridze in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marske-by-the-Sea's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Sachino Londaridze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaja Sulakvidze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Valiko Andrzheevskiy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charilaos Mouzakis went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sachino Londaridze was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Marske-by-the-Sea booed when East Cowes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Andrzheevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charilaos Mouzakis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marske-by-the-Sea. Sachino Londaridze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vaja Sulakvidze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charilaos Mouzakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Gocha Pulishvili in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Marske-by-the-Sea's Bondo Salia. In the 69th minute, Andrey Andrzheevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. East Cowes's Andrey Andrzheevskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Sachino Londaridze made a precise shot to the right of Vaja Sulakvidze. Marske-by-the-Sea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Amiran Pilievi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Marske-by-the-Sea's Vaja Sulakvidze got control of the ball when Sachino Londaridze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marske-by-the-Sea's Vaja Sulakvidze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Marske-by-the-Sea from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Torgva Dzotsenidze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, East Cowes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bondo Mamporia to maneuver through the defense. Valiko Andrzheevskiy came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marske-by-the-Sea's Charilaos Mouzakis. But to his dismay, Charilaos Mouzakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. East Cowes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
