The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thodoris Sotiriou made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Anton Almkvist sent off a good shot on target. FC TSKALSADENI's Thodoris Sotiriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Partin in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Partin in the 19th minute of play forced FC TSKALSADENI's goalkeeper Thodoris Sotiriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Sotiriou came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Pura Vida Academy's Anton Almkvist. But to his dismay, Anton Almkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dato Chebaevskiy in the 25th minute of play forced Pura Vida Academy's goalkeeper Iveri Aragvsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Pura Vida Academy's Edgar Partin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thodoris Sotiriou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. FC TSKALSADENI's Thodoris Sotiriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC TSKALSADENI from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akim Robakidze got free with Thodoris Sotiriou in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Nikolaj Abesadze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TSKALSADENI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pura Vida Academy the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Pura Vida Academy's Anton Almkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Gadaevi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Pura Vida Academy's Edgar Partin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thodoris Sotiriou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thodoris Sotiriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akim Robakidze in the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC TSKALSADENI's goal looked a bit too open when Uta Andrzheevskiy came free, but Thodoris Sotiriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC TSKALSADENI's Radomil Bondel got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thodoris Sotiriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Partin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pura Vida Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC TSKALSADENI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
