Şaban Okdağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, A V A Z A's goal looked a bit too open when Merab Topnikov came free, but Şaban Okdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tsotne Gvaramadze kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irakli Robakidze during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A V A Z A getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Irakli Robakidze hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, FC Junkers United's goalkeeper Takha Pozharskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valiko Pachalia. In the 27th minute Filipp Topnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takha Pozharskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merab Topnikov in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes, Tsotne Gvaramadze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Junkers United and the A V A Z A players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valiko Pachalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Takha Pozharskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takha Pozharskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipp Topnikov's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute of the game Andrey Andrzheevskiy made a throw-in which Bebur Babadishev played forward. Vaja Mingrelsky kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Şaban Okdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdek Pärjasaar in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipp Topnikov in the 56th minute of play forced FC Junkers United's goalkeeper Takha Pozharskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Valiko Pachalia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A V A Z A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valiko Pachalia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Takha Pozharskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipp Topnikov in the 61st minute of play. Irakli Robakidze kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Miroslav Vais didn't quite understand what happened when in the 64 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. FC Junkers United's Takha Pozharskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiko Pachalia in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ got control of the ball when Tsotne Gvaramadze tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 played minutes A V A Z A got a freekick which was hit by Filipp Topnikov. Takha Pozharskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipp Topnikov in the 76th minute of play. Valiko Pachalia struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Takha Pozharskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A V A Z A. A collision led to FC Junkers United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Miroslav Vais hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Filipp Topnikov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takha Pozharskiy was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Şaban Okdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdek Pärjasaar in the 90th minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Junkers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
