If Camaläddin Bağiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bäşir Zaxundov in the 11th minute of play forced Abşeron's goalkeeper Häsän Bädiyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camaläddin Bağiyev in the 13th minute of the match. Mübariz Team's Mänsur Rzayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Augustin in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şair Baloğlanov in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Häsän Bädiyev saved Abşeron from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Adışirin Azayev came free, but Häsän Bädiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Häsän Bädiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şair Baloğlanov in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Elman Zeynälzadä left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mübariz Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Augustin in the 31st minute of play forced Mübariz Team's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Bäşir Zaxundov came free, but Häsän Bädiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adışirin Azayev hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Häsän Bädiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adışirin Azayev in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Mübariz Team booed when Abşeron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasya Utanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bäşir Zaxundov came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mübariz Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bäşir Zaxundov couldn't finish the play. When Mübariz Team's Bäşir Zaxundov in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Felix Augustin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mänsur Rzayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mürsäl Kazımlı kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gündüz Haqverdiyev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Abşeron from getting a goal against them. Häsän Bädiyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adışirin Azayev, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Äşräf Ämrahov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Häsän Bädiyev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Mübariz Team's zone, Vasya Utanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mänsur Rzayev came out of the goal and Vasya Utanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Şakir Adişirinov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Häsän Bädiyev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Abşeron defense, Elman Zeynälzadä kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Häsän Bädiyev. The Abşeron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Häsän Bädiyev should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Äşräf Ämrahov could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Häsän Bädiyev however easily saved by the left post. Mübariz Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
