Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi in the 4th minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Faramarz Torabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Yahya Talaei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Birkenhead got a freekick which was hit by Aram Nosrati. Faramarz Torabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Behrad Hashemian's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. A collision led to Birkenhead getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gholam Artoonian hit a great ball. 14 minutes in the game, Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 15 minutes, Rahim Ghoreishi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birkenhead and the Barhill players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Birkenhead fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahman Rafipour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rambod Shakibaei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Faramarz Torabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behrad Hashemian in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faramarz Torabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barhill booed when Birkenhead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmad Reza Ghoreishi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Behrad Hashemian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faramarz Torabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faramarz Torabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Behrad Hashemian's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Behrad Hashemian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barhill's supporters rose to their feet, but Behrad Hashemian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faramarz Torabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Birkenhead players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barhill were winning 0-2.

Faramarz Torabi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barhill's Behrad Hashemian. But to his dismay, Behrad Hashemian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Behrad Hashemian's late challenge caught a Birkenhead's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behrad Hashemian helped the player get up and apologised. Behrad Hashemian kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Barhill booed when Birkenhead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirooz Talebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Siavash Farahmand in the 60th minute of play was well struck, but Faramarz Torabi made a really good save at the right post. Faramarz Torabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Behrad Hashemian in the 67th minute. Faramarz Torabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi in the 73rd minute of the match. Faramarz Torabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Barhill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi couldn't finish the play. Behrad Hashemian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faramarz Torabi having to interfere. Behrad Hashemian might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faramarz Torabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behrad Hashemian ran back to his position shaking his head. Faramarz Torabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Nikbakht-Vahedi in the 93rd minute of play. Arsalnn Bazargan might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rambod Shakibaei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsalnn Bazargan ran back to his position shaking his head. Barhill's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
