Spectators: 9384 (Terracing: 7040, Seating: 2158, VIP seats: 186) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahbod Hasheminejad started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Middleton's goal looked a bit too open when Pouya Babakan came free, but Gilberto Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Middleton defense, Pouya Babakan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Galo. The Middleton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Galo should have stopped the shot. When Pouya Babakan fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AliKhas FC's protests and gave Pouya Babakan a yellow card for diving instead. Pouya Babakan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. AliKhas FC's Ebi Daei got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pouya Babakan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Galo saved Middleton from getting behind. Mohsen Bagheri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gilberto Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ebi Daei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Middleton's Afshin Mirzapour got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pouya Babakan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Galo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 played minutes AliKhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ebi Daei. Hesam Abpakhshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afshin Mirzapour, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. AliKhas FC's Ebi Daei got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ebi Daei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ebi Daei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afshin Mirzapour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Middleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afshin Mirzapour to maneuver through the defense. Hesam Abpakhshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahbod Hasheminejad, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Pouya Babakan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Mahbod Hasheminejad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hesam Abpakhshi was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Jafar Javaheri hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
