The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Shahrooz Fazeli made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Saman Heidari sent off a good shot on target. When Mehrak Shahroudi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Micklefield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehrak Shahroudi couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Hooman Majidi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Micklefield United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasargad FC the free kick. In the 27th minute, Hooman Majidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Saman Heidari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Micklefield United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saman Heidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Shahrooz Fazeli managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Micklefield United's Saman Heidari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehrak Shahroudi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shahrooz Fazeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Shahrooz Fazeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saman Heidari in the 44th minute. Pasargad FC's Shahrooz Fazeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Pasargad FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Saman Heidari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Micklefield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Saman Heidari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shahrooz Fazeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saman Heidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Shahrooz Fazeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saman Heidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shahrooz Fazeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saman Heidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Morad Fazeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saman Heidari in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shahrooz Fazeli saved Pasargad FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Micklefield United's Saman Heidari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shahrooz Fazeli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasargad FC's goalkeeper Shahrooz Fazeli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mehrak Shahroudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saman Heidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Hesam Madanchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shahrooz Fazeli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saman Heidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saman Heidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Shahrooz Fazeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saman Heidari scored 1-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shahrooz Fazeli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehrak Shahroudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
