After having played for 10 minutes, Mahbod Hasheminejad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Middleton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahbod Hasheminejad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahbod Hasheminejad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Nassaji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salar Parvin to maneuver through the defense. Nassaji's Kamran Mansourian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afshin Mirzapour in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Nassaji's goal looked a bit too open when Mahbod Hasheminejad came free, but Kamran Mansourian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mahbod Hasheminejad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afshin Mirzapour might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamran Mansourian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afshin Mirzapour ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Nassaji's Ahmad Reza Rahimi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rashid Khalatbari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamran Mansourian having to interfere. Mahbod Hasheminejad scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamran Mansourian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shervin Emad's late challenge caught a Middleton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shervin Emad helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Mahbod Hasheminejad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamran Mansourian was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69thth minute of the game Mahbod Hasheminejad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nassaji's Kamran Mansourian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Middleton's zone, Shervin Emad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Galo came out of the goal and Shervin Emad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darab Maleki in the 95th minute of play forced Middleton's goalkeeper Gilberto Galo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Nassaji's Gilberto Galo threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darab Maleki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Middleton's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
