A very good chance. Koosha Vaezi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kianoosh Khalatbari having to make a save. Cleobury Mortimer's Omid Ferdowsi Pour got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kianoosh Khalatbari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nader Sajjadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Omid Ferdowsi Pour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cleobury Mortimer's supporters rose to their feet, but Omid Ferdowsi Pour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kianoosh Khalatbari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Koosha Vaezi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kianoosh Khalatbari having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match Sattar Firoozabadi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kianoosh Khalatbari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Shayan Dinarvand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. Purples's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cleobury Mortimer the free kick. The supporters of Cleobury Mortimer booed when A.C. Purples was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayan Dinarvand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kianoosh Khalatbari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omid Ferdowsi Pour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omid Ferdowsi Pour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kianoosh Khalatbari was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sattar Firoozabadi. Koosha Vaezi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kianoosh Khalatbari having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omid Ferdowsi Pour in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kianoosh Khalatbari saved A.C. Purples from getting behind. Omid Ferdowsi Pour's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Kianoosh Khalatbari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, A.C. Purples's Kianoosh Khalatbari got control of the ball when Koosha Vaezi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tirdad Pashazadeh came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the A.C. Purples fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tirdad Pashazadeh couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koohyar Artoonian in the 83rd minute of play forced Cleobury Mortimer's goalkeeper Azad Eshkevari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Jalil Borhani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Cleobury Mortimer got a freekick which was hit by Jalil Borhani. A collision led to Cleobury Mortimer getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bamshad Mofti hit a great ball. A.C. Purples's Koohyar Artoonian managed to work through Cleobury Mortimer's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Koohyar Artoonian dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 96th minute, Tirdad Pashazadeh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Purples fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cleobury Mortimer's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
