In the 12th minute, Hooman Fazel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eastern Kurdistan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bameen Firoozabadi in the 18th minute of play forced Speedrod iran's goalkeeper Hormoz Lahouti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hooman Fazel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hooman Fazel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hormoz Lahouti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Mostafa Sharifinasab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Hooman Fazel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shahyar Daneshjou took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hormoz Lahouti. Hormoz Lahouti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bameen Firoozabadi scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hormoz Lahouti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hormoz Lahouti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hooman Fazel in the 40th minute of play. Hormoz Lahouti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bameen Firoozabadi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bameen Firoozabadi made a kick off. In the 51st minute Bameen Firoozabadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hormoz Lahouti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirooz Nekounam's late challenge caught a Eastern Kurdistan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pirooz Nekounam helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Speedrod iran's Pirooz Nekounam got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Pirooz Nekounam collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Shahyar Daneshjou kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hormoz Lahouti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bameen Firoozabadi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 65 minute of play. Shahyar Daneshjou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hormoz Lahouti came out and tried to block the shot, but Shahyar Daneshjou slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 69th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Hooman Fazel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hooman Fazel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Firouz Zarghami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Speedrod iran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eastern Kurdistan FC the free kick. Firouz Zarghami kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Hormoz Lahouti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bameen Firoozabadi in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Speedrod iran's zone, Bameen Firoozabadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hormoz Lahouti came out of the goal and Bameen Firoozabadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Pejman Homayoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Eastern Kurdistan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shahyar Daneshjou to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th match minute, Eastern Kurdistan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hooman Hejazi to maneuver through the defense. The Speedrod iran fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eastern Kurdistan FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
