The supporters of Sawtry booed when Speedrod iran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pejman Homayoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fardin Taheri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sawtry's Abtin Heshmatzadeh got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salar Bagheri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hormoz Lahouti having to interfere. Speedrod iran's Hormoz Lahouti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salar Bagheri in the 28th minute of play. Sawtry's Amir Parsa Bozorgzadeh suffered a concussion in the 28th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Pirooz Nekounam fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Speedrod iran's protests and gave Pirooz Nekounam a yellow card for diving instead. Abtin Heshmatzadeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hormoz Lahouti having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Salar Bagheri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawtry's supporters rose to their feet, but Salar Bagheri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hormoz Lahouti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abtin Heshmatzadeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hormoz Lahouti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hormoz Lahouti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehrzad Majidi in the 43rd minute. Mehrzad Majidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sawtry players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Speedrod iran were winning 0-1.

Pejman Homayoun did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Massoud Ghotbi 55 minutes into the match. Hormoz Lahouti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abtin Heshmatzadeh, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Salar Bagheri came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sawtry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salar Bagheri couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Saeed Artoonian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hormoz Lahouti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abtin Heshmatzadeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hormoz Lahouti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirooz Nekounam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Kaveh Amirabadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hormoz Lahouti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Massoud Ghotbi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Asad Mayelikohan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abtin Heshmatzadeh in the 92nd minute of play forced Speedrod iran's goalkeeper Hormoz Lahouti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, Speedrod iran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamal Rad to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle went the supporters of Speedrod iran were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sawtry side.
