In the 46thth minute of the game Abou Ali Kavianpour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Farzan Alinejad made a kick off. Farzan Alinejad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Jafar Sadeghian fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iran Academy FC's protests and gave Jafar Sadeghian a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iran Academy FC! The goalkeeper, Olaf Okopny, was totally fooled by Battle's Shahyar Eslami, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Iran Academy FC's Sohrab Hejazi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Parham Taghavi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Battle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 94 minutes, Abou Ali Kavianpour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iran Academy FC and the Battle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Iran Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abou Ali Kavianpour to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iran Academy FC's goalkeeper Olaf Okopny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Battle were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
