An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamran Mazhar in the 4th minute of play forced Chelmsford United's goalkeeper Erenay Özben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rahman Tabeer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Masood Ghufyan 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Chelmsford United's Rahman Tabeer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Masood Ghufyan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rahman Tabeer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Masood Ghufyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Rahman Tabeer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Rahman Tabeer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Masood Ghufyan having to make a save. Rahman Tabeer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Masood Ghufyan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 22 minutes of play, Chelmsford United's Rahman Tabeer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Masood Ghufyan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 25 minutes, Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelmsford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 28 in the game by Rahman Tabeer from a close distance when the talented Masood Ghufyan managed to make a qualified save. Northallerton's players were relieved. Rahman Tabeer had several of the Northallerton's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Masood Ghufyan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte scored 6-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Masood Ghufyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chelmsford United's Rahman Tabeer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rahman Tabeer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Masood Ghufyan made a huge save. If Rahman Tabeer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rahman Tabeer was the one to do the kick off. When Farooq Intisar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northallerton's protests and gave Farooq Intisar a yellow card for diving instead. Farooq Intisar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Chelmsford United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
