Wellesbourne's Mudasser Qureshi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamran Mazhar in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamran Mazhar in the 10th minute of play forced Wellesbourne's goalkeeper Mudasser Qureshi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kamran Mazhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agha Kashan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mudasser Qureshi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamran Mazhar in the 27th minute of play. If Moazzam Rehman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wellesbourne's goalkeeper Mudasser Qureshi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nadir Kiyani charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nadir Kiyani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wellesbourne getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nadir Kiyani hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Farooq Intisar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wellesbourne's Mudasser Qureshi didn't even have to move. Ayaz Sajid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moazzam Rehman was the one to do the kick off. Masood Ghufyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sufyan Shayan in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Ayaz Sajid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Masood Ghufyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moazzam Rehman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moazzam Rehman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Northallerton's zone, Aftab Meman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Masood Ghufyan came out of the goal and Aftab Meman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kamran Mazhar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mudasser Qureshi having to interfere. If Moazzam Rehman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sufyan Shayan in the 95th minute of play forced Northallerton's goalkeeper Masood Ghufyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
