Abdelnaser Dehrab took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandros Karterouliotis. Alexandros Karterouliotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Abdelnaser Dehrab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelnaser Dehrab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Karterouliotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Al-Jazira Sporting Club booed when Khor Fakkan Sport & C C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adham Al Dosery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adham Al Dosery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alexandros Karterouliotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Karterouliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahdi Al Qatam in the 18th minute of play. Shjae Al Muwail hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Alexandros Karterouliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahdi Al Qatam in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Yasser Al Hammady was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khor Fakkan Sport & C C the free kick. Yasser Al Hammady kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alexandros Karterouliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adham Al Dosery in the 26th minute of the match. Mahdi Al Qatam got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alexandros Karterouliotis handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mahdi Al Qatam sped through Al-Jazira Sporting Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandros Karterouliotis. After a rather tough play, Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's Sayer Al Arbash got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's Domenico Lampa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Khor Fakkan Sport & C C from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mahdi Al Qatam came free, but Alexandros Karterouliotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Qutada Al Mothaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandros Karterouliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahdi Al Qatam in the 45th minute of play. Alexandros Karterouliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelnaser Dehrab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Shjae Al Muwail made the kick off in the second half. Abdelnaser Dehrab made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Alexandros Karterouliotis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Adham Al Dosery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alexandros Karterouliotis made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Fakher Sarkhoh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelnaser Dehrab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Abdelnaser Dehrab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandros Karterouliotis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hussain Bo Qamaz in the 65th minute of play forced Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's goalkeeper Domenico Lampa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's Abdelnaser Dehrab ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexandros Karterouliotis. Alexandros Karterouliotis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Jazira Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Al-Jazira Sporting Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Yasser Al Hammady hit a great ball. If Sayer Al Nasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Hussain Bo Qamaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's goal looked a bit too open when Hussain Bo Qamaz came free, but Domenico Lampa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenico Lampa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hussain Bo Qamaz in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Khor Fakkan Sport & C C's Shjae Al Muwail made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Karterouliotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sayer Al Arbash came free, but Alexandros Karterouliotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abdelnaser Dehrab came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Khor Fakkan Sport & C C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelnaser Dehrab couldn't finish the play. Shjae Al Muwail hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
