The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fawaz Al Shati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aadil Al Balool, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fawaz Al Shati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aadil Al Balool went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Salah Al Sarraf made a precise shot to the right of Fawaz Al Shati. Al-Mnya Northleach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 11 played minutes Al-Mnya Northleach got a freekick which was hit by Fakher Al Habshi. After 11 minutes, Meqdad Sarkhoh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Mnya Northleach and the Al Whada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Al-Mnya Northleach's Meqdad Sarkhoh got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fawaz Al Shati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Msaed Kakoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fawaz Al Shati made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Saed Al Qattan sent off a good shot on target. Fawaz Al Shati was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Msaed Kakoli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Msaed Kakoli really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When Saed Al Qattan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Al Whada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saed Al Qattan couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Al-Mnya Northleach's Fawaz Al Shati got control of the ball when Msaed Kakoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fawaz Al Shati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aadil Al Balool, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saed Al Qattan got free with Fawaz Al Shati in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fawaz Al Shati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Msaed Kakoli in the 39th minute. If Salah Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meqdad Sarkhoh hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Faisal Al Wazan's late challenge caught a Al Whada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faisal Al Wazan helped the player get up and apologised. Faisal Al Wazan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Fawaz Al Shati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salah Al Sarraf in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Msaed Kakoli made the kick off in the second half. Fawaz Al Shati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Msaed Kakoli in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Awwad Al Ansari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fawaz Al Shati. Al-Mnya Northleach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Awwad Al Ansari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Mnya Northleach's zone, Salah Al Sarraf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fawaz Al Shati came out of the goal and Salah Al Sarraf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fawaz Al Shati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Al Sarraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Msaed Kakoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fawaz Al Shati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Msaed Kakoli took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fawaz Al Shati. Fawaz Al Shati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Al-Mnya Northleach's Abbas Al Khobaize got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Al Whada FC's Aadil Al Balool made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fawaz Al Shati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Msaed Kakoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Awwad Al Ansari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fawaz Al Shati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Al-Mnya Northleach getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Abbas Al Khobaize hit a great ball. Msaed Kakoli took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fawaz Al Shati. Fawaz Al Shati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Msaed Kakoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th match minute, Al Whada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaqoub Bo Shehri to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Al Whada FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
