In the 15th minute, Márton Irmai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horacio Zarricueta. The goal made the score 1-0. Mark Van De Broeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Milla, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vladimir Kugotov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Mihail Nichitelea got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Márton Irmai's late challenge caught a Shymkent Camels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márton Irmai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, GÓRNIK ZABRZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Irmai to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Shymkent Camels's Vladimir Kugotov got a free kick in the 86th minute.
