A collision led to Keggers Hill getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Barhistha Chakma hit a great ball. After 4 minutes, Candrabhana Chaudhari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keggers Hill and the Telford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Keggers Hill:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Telford AFC:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 6 played minutes, when Telford AFC:s Raghu Sachdev calmly waited for Keggers Hill:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After having played for 8 minutes, Ekayavan Sabnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keggers Hill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekayavan Sabnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Amitrajit Venkataramanappa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harchanan Agroia was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Ekayavan Sabnis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krsnantara Basu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ekayavan Sabnis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keggers Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekayavan Sabnis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harchanan Agroia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bhuvapati Kaila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinesh Chandha in the 37th minute of the match. When Telford AFC's Dinesh Chandha in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keggers Hill's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute Dinesh Chandha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhuvapati Kaila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Telford AFC defense, Ekayavan Sabnis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harchanan Agroia. The Telford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harchanan Agroia should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ekayavan Sabnis was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Telford AFC's Harchanan Agroia got control of the ball when Amitrajit Venkataramanappa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keggers Hill's Bhuvapati Kaila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esita Rama in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Keggers Hill's Ekayavan Sabnis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harchanan Agroia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Keggers Hill booed when Telford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jambunathan Srivastava didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bhuvapati Kaila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinesh Chandha in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinesh Chandha in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bhuvapati Kaila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Telford AFC's Lal Judge got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Telford AFC's zone, Ekayavan Sabnis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harchanan Agroia came out of the goal and Ekayavan Sabnis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esita Rama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dinesh Chandha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bhuvapati Kaila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinesh Chandha in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Keggers Hill players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Telford AFC.
