Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anup Linyu started the match with the kick off. Honna Gasnette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anup Linyu in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Daventry City's goal looked a bit too open when Aracana Sra came free, but Jalarka Dhotre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anup Linyu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honna Gasnette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Deb Roy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deb Roy hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Kusumojvala Rudrappa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deb Roy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Honna Gasnette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anup Linyu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honna Gasnette saved Brentwood United from getting behind. Bharathi Bhatti kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jalarka Dhotre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aracana Sra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Daventry City's Dhrsaj Bhudraja got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute of the match Milkesh Lal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jalarka Dhotre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Brentwood United booed when Daventry City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhrsaj Bhudraja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Aracana Sra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jalarka Dhotre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daventry City's Deb Roy got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deb Roy got free with Honna Gasnette in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Devapada Mukherjee's late challenge caught a Daventry City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Devapada Mukherjee helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brentwood United's Devapada Mukherjee got a free kick in the 41st minute. Deb Roy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honna Gasnette having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anup Linyu in the 46th minute of play forced Brentwood United's goalkeeper Honna Gasnette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Honna Gasnette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anup Linyu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Jalarka Dhotre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Daventry City's Anup Linyu in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brentwood United's goalie prevented a goal. Honna Gasnette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anup Linyu in the 62nd minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Deb Roy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anup Linyu in the 71st minute of play forced Brentwood United's goalkeeper Honna Gasnette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daventry City were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Brentwood United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agnivesa Singh took the corner. The corner led Daventry City's Agnivesa Singh to fire away a dangerous shot which Honna Gasnette despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Brentwood United's goal looked a bit too open when Deb Roy came free, but Honna Gasnette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Anup Linyu sped through Brentwood United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honna Gasnette. 88 minutes into the match, Deb Roy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honna Gasnette. Brentwood United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deb Roy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Devapada Mukherjee struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jalarka Dhotre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brentwood United. In the 95th minute, one of Brentwood United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brentwood United.
