In the 14thth minute of the game Sitaram Jha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Souvik super team's Suraj Marak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krpananda Sahni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Harrow's Ranjith Dube seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ranjith Dube the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Harrow protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ranjith Dube had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When Dhanapala Nair came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Harrow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dhanapala Nair couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Krpananda Sahni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Souvik super team's goal looked a bit too open when Kanthamani Malhan came free, but Suraj Marak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
