Campeya Reel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Alipriya Malhan made a huge save. Campeya Reel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alipriya Malhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campeya Reels short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Alipriya Malhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Campeya Reel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Polaris's Anuyayin Jammu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Anuyayin Jammu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Dhanavanta Walia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krpanaka Virk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Campeya Reel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alipriya Malhan having to interfere. Kushwaha Raja's late challenge caught a Bombay Brats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kushwaha Raja helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Polaris getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kushwaha Raja hit a great ball. Cunda Cheema took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Massem Gala. Polaris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alipriya Malhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Campeya Reel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alipriya Malhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Polaris fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Polaris's Anuyayin Jammu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Polaris fully deserved thier win.
