The supporters of Bury booed when Bombay Brats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cunda Cheema didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bodhinmanas Varma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bury's supporters rose to their feet, but Bodhinmanas Varma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alipriya Malhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bodhinmanas Varma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alipriya Malhan having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Teja Nahal made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Atidatta Irani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bodhinmanas Varma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teja Nahal in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Teja Nahal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teja Nahal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bodhinmanas Varma came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodhinmanas Varma couldn't finish the play. Atidatta Irani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aditeya Dalvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teja Nahal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alipriya Malhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Bodhinmanas Varma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alipriya Malhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atidatta Irani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aditeya Dalvi having to interfere. There was no doubt that Bury were the better team. Bury's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
