Atish Dale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudha Malhotra, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Anasvan Sudan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Indradatta Sran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Indradatta Sran throw himself and got hold of the ball when Manmohan Gasnette in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Weaverham FC's Manmohan Gasnette in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavenham's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Manmohan Gasnette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Indradatta Sran was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Manmohan Gasnette fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Indradatta Sran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barinder Chima in the 22nd minute of play. Atish Dale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golaki Chhugani in the 27th minute of play. Atish Dale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacangala Bharadwaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Weaverham FC's zone, Golaki Chhugani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atish Dale came out of the goal and Golaki Chhugani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manmohan Gasnette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Anasvan Sudan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 36 minutes into the match, Lavenham's goalkeeper Indradatta Sran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anasvan Sudan. The crowd rose to their feet as Anasvan Sudan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Indradatta Sran. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. The supporters of Lavenham booed when Weaverham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenya Bain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Weaverham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Golaki Chhugani came free, but Atish Dale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kacangala Bharadwaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacangala Bharadwaj was the one to do the kick off. Anasvan Sudan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Indradatta Sran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weaverham FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manmohan Gasnette in the 55th minute of play forced Lavenham's goalkeeper Indradatta Sran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atish Dale had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Kartar Sanghera's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Kacangala Bharadwaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kacangala Bharadwaj got free with Atish Dale in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anasvan Sudan during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lavenham booed when Weaverham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anasvan Sudan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anasvan Sudan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Citaka Chahal during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavenham's goalkeeper Indradatta Sran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the game, Golaki Chhugani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Atish Dale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
