Anasvan Sudan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fatehpal Agarwal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manmohan Gasnette in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Kerala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksayata Denhoy to maneuver through the defense. Balwant Chawla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atish Dale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Manmohan Gasnette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatehpal Agarwal having to interfere. Iolkos Antipas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Atish Dale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agavaha Kulkarni hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Fatehpal Agarwal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manmohan Gasnette in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Ksayata Denhoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iolkos Antipas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atish Dale having to make a save. Balwant Chawla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iolkos Antipas sped through Weaverham FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atish Dale. 45 minutes into the match, Weaverham FC's Manmohan Gasnette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fatehpal Agarwal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iolkos Antipas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 47th playminute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manmohan Gasnette to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Weaverham FC defense, Iolkos Antipas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atish Dale. The Weaverham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atish Dale should have stopped the shot. When Manmohan Gasnette came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Weaverham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manmohan Gasnette couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kerala FC booed when Weaverham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manmohan Gasnette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iolkos Antipas in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atish Dale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anasvan Sudan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fatehpal Agarwal made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Anasvan Sudan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kerala FC's Iolkos Antipas got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Weaverham FC's Balraj Bansal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fatehpal Agarwal but with some difficulty. Kerala FC's Fatehpal Agarwal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manmohan Gasnette in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kerala FC's Chuttur Mehra got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Balwant Chawla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atish Dale having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kerala FC had won after a very even match.
