After a rather tough play, Deadpooool's Cirakari Sawhney got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Anurag Chana in the 18th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Laloo Shankar kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 22 minutes of play Taverham FC's Bhaumiratna Sagoo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bhaumiratna Sagoo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Anurag Chana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Laloo Shankar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cariman Badyal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Massem Basrai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taverham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Massem Basrai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ratangeet Bajwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Taverham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anurag Chana to maneuver through the defense. After 51 minutes Taverham FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hridayaja Sahni who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rajjun Bansal's late challenge caught a Taverham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rajjun Bansal helped the player get up and apologised. Rajjun Bansal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deadpooool's zone, Anurag Chana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laloo Shankar came out of the goal and Anurag Chana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Deadpooool's Ratangeet Bajwa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harinder Mondol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Massem Basrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laloo Shankar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Massem Basrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taverham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Massem Basrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laloo Shankar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Taverham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rajjun Bansal came free, but Harinder Mondol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Deadpooool got a freekick which was hit by Agadhi Khalsa. If Massem Basrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
