Ainsdale's Beant Johar managed to work through Locksheath's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Beant Johar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jetva Pabley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksaman Tur having to interfere. If Shambu Shrivastav had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Jetva Pabley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abhasvara Padda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Brahmadhara Khatter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jetva Pabley in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ksaman Tur saved Ainsdale from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Amalamani Shindi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ainsdale and the Locksheath players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Amalamani Shindi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Jetva Pabley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksaman Tur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Locksheath's Tejbir Dube got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ainsdale's zone, Abhasvara Padda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksaman Tur came out of the goal and Abhasvara Padda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Abhasvara Padda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ksaman Tur was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Kandala Acharya charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kandala Acharya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ainsdale booed when Locksheath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandala Acharya didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shambu Shrivastav in the 36th minute of play forced Locksheath's goalkeeper Ekaraya Ghosh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shambu Shrivastav might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ekaraya Ghosh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shambu Shrivastav ran back to his position shaking his head. Ksaman Tur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jetva Pabley, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abhasvara Padda to make the kick off. Ksaman Tur had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abhasvara Padda from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Locksheath's Jetva Pabley got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Pranav Dass was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ainsdale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locksheath the free kick. A collision led to Ainsdale getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pranav Dass hit a great ball. When Amalamani Shindi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Amalamani Shindi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Jetva Pabley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jetva Pabley got free with Ksaman Tur in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ksaman Tur stood somewhat misplaced when Jetva Pabley came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 82 minute. A collision led to Locksheath getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Abhasvara Padda hit a great ball.
