Penzance AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaideep Gala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Soccer Stars FC's zone, Brajamani Pradhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amaruka Biswas came out of the goal and Brajamani Pradhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Soccer Stars FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Daulat Boparai hit a great ball. Brajamani Pradhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaruka Biswas having to interfere. Damati Sawant took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amaruka Biswas. Amaruka Biswas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Penzance AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaideep Gala came free, but Srikanth Chahall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Penzance AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ekayavan Pradhan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Damati Sawant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penzance AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damati Sawant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amaruka Biswas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaideep Gala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angasvami Deol's late challenge caught a Soccer Stars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angasvami Deol helped the player get up and apologised. Damati Sawant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaruka Biswas having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Brajamani Pradhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Stars FC's Amaruka Biswas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Penzance AFC! In the 67th minute, Soccer Stars FC's Jaideep Gala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Amaruka Biswas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekayavan Pradhan in the 73rd minute of play. Srikanth Chahall made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Angirasa Chopra sent off a good shot on target. Damati Sawant struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Amaruka Biswas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penzance AFC. Jaideep Gala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Srikanth Chahall having to interfere. Srikanth Chahall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaideep Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekayavan Pradhan's late challenge caught a Soccer Stars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ekayavan Pradhan helped the player get up and apologised. Ekayavan Pradhan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Soccer Stars FC's Anantdev Khatri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Soccer Stars FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
