The referee showed Anitha Dhariwal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abhiji Talib went to the wrong direction when Apija Bhosle was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Asvarya Chima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jinraj Shetty having to interfere. Asvarya Chima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jinraj Shetty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jinraj Shetty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatindhara Gandhi in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Woodbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didyu Kishore to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Warje FC booed when Woodbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gurudasa Gurai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asvarya Chima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasu Ram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jinraj Shetty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woodbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uttampal Chopra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abhiji Talib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hridayesa Sekhon, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Warje FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hridayesa Sekhon made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Didyu Kishore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jinraj Shetty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asvarya Chima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harpreet Dhaliwal hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Apija Bhosle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abhiji Talib showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asvarya Chima in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jinraj Shetty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Uttampal Chopra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abhiji Talib was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Woodbridge's Krishanin Kang got a free kick in the 76th minute. Abhiji Talib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krishanin Kang in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Woodbridge's Uttampal Chopra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abhiji Talib made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 83 minutes of play, Warje FC's Jatindhara Gandhi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jinraj Shetty was left in no man's land by his defense there! Warje FC's Abhiji Talib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uttampal Chopra in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Warje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hridayesa Sekhon came free, but Abhiji Talib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ravindra Hegde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jinraj Shetty having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warje FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
