Spectators: 6830 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abhasvara Padda started the match with the kick off. Taverham FC's Harinder Mondol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tejbir Dube in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Abhasvara Padda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Taverham FC got a freekick which was hit by Akampana Thiara. Arun Haito didn't quite understand what happened when in the 18 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Taverham FC's Harinder Mondol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jetva Pabley in the 19th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Darsaniya Nair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taverham FC and the Locksheath players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anurag Chana in the 29th minute of play forced Locksheath's goalkeeper Ekaraya Ghosh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Abhasvara Padda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Locksheath fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Tejbir Dube managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locksheath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tejbir Dube was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Locksheath's Abhasvara Padda in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taverham FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abhasvara Padda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Taverham FC's Harinder Mondol got control of the ball when Jetva Pabley tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kandala Acharya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekaraya Ghosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anurag Chana in the 74th minute of play. Abhasvara Padda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harinder Mondol having to interfere. With his leg Harinder Mondol managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Locksheath's Jetva Pabley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abhasvara Padda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harinder Mondol having to interfere. Abhasvara Padda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Harinder Mondol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jetva Pabley came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Locksheath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jetva Pabley couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Abhasvara Padda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jetva Pabley struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Harinder Mondol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locksheath.
