Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Brajamani Pradhan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jinraj Shetty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damati Sawant, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Damati Sawant notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Woodbridge's Jinraj Shetty. Jinraj Shetty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jinraj Shetty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damati Sawant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Brajamani Pradhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jinraj Shetty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Krishanin Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hridayesa Sekhon in the 14th minute of play forced Penzance AFC's goalkeeper Srikanth Chahall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Krishanin Kang fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodbridge's protests and gave Krishanin Kang a yellow card for diving instead. Krishanin Kang hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jinraj Shetty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damati Sawant in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Penzance AFC's zone, Hridayesa Sekhon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Srikanth Chahall came out of the goal and Hridayesa Sekhon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damati Sawant in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jinraj Shetty saved Woodbridge from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Woodbridge's zone, Damati Sawant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jinraj Shetty came out of the goal and Damati Sawant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Woodbridge got a freekick which was hit by Apija Bhosle. In the 32nd minute of the match Dhurai Lalthangsanga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jinraj Shetty skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th match minute, Penzance AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brajamani Pradhan to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Penzance AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th play minute Damati Sawant came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jinraj Shetty. 0-3. Brajamani Pradhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Srikanth Chahall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krishanin Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Penzance AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutsaka Bhutia to maneuver through the defense. Hridayesa Sekhon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Srikanth Chahall having to interfere. Jinraj Shetty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brajamani Pradhan in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Penzance AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
