After a rather tough play, Snakes & Foxes's Amitdhvaja Sahni got a free kick in the 40th minute. Balwant Dua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasaratha Bansal in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harmeet Prewal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hasaratha Bansal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balwant Dua was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Harmeet Prewal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balwant Dua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prem Baweja in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harmeet Prewal in the 93rd minute of play forced La Mafia's goalkeeper Hardhian Panu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
