In the 23rd minute Anumita Kasal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iksuda Sengupta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Apacita Rahul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhimoda Dhami's late challenge caught a Ilkley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the Ilkley City and the Southampton United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narinderjeet Basra kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilkley City's Anumita Kasal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iksuda Sengupta. That made the score 0-4 after 72 minutes of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southampton United's goalkeeper Iksuda Sengupta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Apacita Rahul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iksuda Sengupta. Southampton United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apacita Rahul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The attack was good, but when Baliman Sharma in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 94 minutes, Harchanan Takhar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southampton United and the Ilkley City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karunakara Hora walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
