Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anoop Ojha kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Chesham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anandin Prasad to maneuver through the defense. Kanvala Bhosale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anoop Ojha in the 6th minute of play. When Chesham's Jashmer Gowda in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Southampton United's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jashmer Gowda in the 18th minute of play forced Southampton United's goalkeeper Iksuda Sengupta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talvir Shetty hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Southampton United's zone, Shawn Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iksuda Sengupta came out of the goal and Shawn Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jashmer Gowda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iksuda Sengupta having to interfere. Anoop Ojha struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Kanvala Bhosale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southampton United. In the 34thth minute of the game Jashmer Gowda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southampton United's Iksuda Sengupta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Southampton United's zone, Shawn Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iksuda Sengupta came out of the goal and Shawn Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jashmer Gowda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chesham's supporters rose to their feet, but Jashmer Gowda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iksuda Sengupta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After recieving a nice pass, Chesham's Susheela Bagha tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Jashmer Gowda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iksuda Sengupta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Shawn Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iksuda Sengupta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd minute Baliman Sharma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kanvala Bhosale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anoop Ojha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kanvala Bhosale having to interfere. Jashmer Gowda might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iksuda Sengupta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jashmer Gowda ran back to his position shaking his head. Iksuda Sengupta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shawn Pinto went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Narinderjeet Basra suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. During the 66th minute of the match Anandin Prasad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anandin Prasad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 70 minutes into the match, Lakshman Bains dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iksuda Sengupta, 0-2. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chesham's goalkeeper Kanvala Bhosale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Susheela Bagha kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chesham's Susheela Bagha got a free kick in the 79th minute. Anangapida Solanki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kanvala Bhosale. Chesham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Shawn Pinto struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Iksuda Sengupta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chesham. If Shawn Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jashmer Gowda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iksuda Sengupta made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Shawn Pinto sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, Amaruka Thakkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Chesham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Southampton United throughout the match.
