Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ilkley City's Anumita Kasal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Apacita Rahul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Anupriya Mirza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ilkley City's zone, Ahara Rudrappa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramnath Mukherjee came out of the goal and Ahara Rudrappa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anumita Kasal in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anupriya Mirza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ilkley City's Akara Pant got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ramnath Mukherjee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahara Rudrappa in the 14th minute of the match. Ahara Rudrappa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengaluru Football Club's Anupriya Mirza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anumita Kasal in the 24th minute of play. Ilkley City's Apacita Rahul got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Chaila Atwal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bengaluru Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaila Atwal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anupriya Mirza stood somewhat misplaced when Anumita Kasal came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. Apacita Rahul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anupriya Mirza having to make a save. 49 minutes into the game, Anumita Kasal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anupriya Mirza. Anumita Kasal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahara Rudrappa to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apacita Rahul in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anupriya Mirza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Anumita Kasal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anupriya Mirza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apacita Rahul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengaluru Football Club's Jaswant Rao got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gurmail Agarwal charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gurmail Agarwal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Ilkley City got a freekick which was hit by Gurmail Agarwal. Anupriya Mirza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apacita Rahul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ahara Rudrappa fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bengaluru Football Club's protests and gave Ahara Rudrappa a yellow card for diving instead. Ahara Rudrappa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Apacita Rahul took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anupriya Mirza. Anupriya Mirza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Apacita Rahul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anupriya Mirza having to make a save. Apacita Rahul scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anupriya Mirza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaswant Rao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ramnath Mukherjee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilkley City's Ramnath Mukherjee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahara Rudrappa in the 83rd minute of play. Anupriya Mirza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anumita Kasal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ilkley City's Ramnath Mukherjee got control of the ball when Jaswant Rao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anupriya Mirza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anumita Kasal in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th minute Anumita Kasal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anupriya Mirza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahara Rudrappa might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramnath Mukherjee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahara Rudrappa ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahara Rudrappa struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Ramnath Mukherjee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bengaluru Football Club. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ilkley City had won after a very even match.
