An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaritri Vishwakarma in the 22nd minute of play forced Ware United's goalkeeper Ajeet Sabnis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Power FC's zone, Balamadi Dindral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirtita Sen came out of the goal and Balamadi Dindral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raminder Mishra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirtita Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balamadi Dindral in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Budhana Lapang made a kick off. Budhana Lapang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ajeet Sabnis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raminder Mishra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Candakirana Rama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirtita Sen having to interfere. If Balamadi Dindral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ware United's Candakirana Rama got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
