Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charandeep Chawla took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Hridayesvara Nair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charandeep Chawla scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adarsa Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Purfleet City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hridayesvara Nair hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Purfleet City's zone, Arjun Diyali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akrodhana Sen came out of the goal and Arjun Diyali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sihor fc booed when Purfleet City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bishwajeet Kaila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sihor fc were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Purfleet City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa took the corner. Sihor fc's Arjun Diyali got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akrodhana Sen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Purfleet City's Akrodhana Sen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Purfleet City from getting a goal against them. Akrodhana Sen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sihor fc's Arjun Diyali got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Charandeep Chawla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purfleet City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sihor fc the free kick. Sihor fc's Parvatiyar Sharma was substituted for Haran Banerjee. In the 42nd minute, Charandeep Chawla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nitya Ram came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Purfleet City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nitya Ram couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa was the one to do the kick off. Ambumani Diyali struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Akrodhana Sen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sihor fc. After 54 minutes, Arjun Diyali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sihor fc and the Purfleet City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Sihor fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjun Diyali to maneuver through the defense. Arjun Diyali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akrodhana Sen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjun Diyali in the 75th minute of play forced Purfleet City's goalkeeper Akrodhana Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Ambumani Diyali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sihor fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambumani Diyali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abhiviraja Venkataramanappa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Nitya Ram ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adarsa Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sihor fc succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Purfleet City had controlled the match.
