Spectators: 9283 (Terracing: 6964, Seating: 2135, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lall Chohan kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Anangapala Dev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narinderpal Deol. NAGALAND FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anangapala Dev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 6th minute, Lall Chohan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stevens CPR's Lech Wielopolski didn't even have to move. In the 10th minute of the match Beman Chahil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narinderpal Deol skillfully saved the ball. Stevens CPR's Anangapala Dev got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lall Chohan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. NAGALAND FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amarajota Jain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, NAGALAND FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dhvanamodin Agrawal came free, but Narinderpal Deol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the NAGALAND FC defense, Anangapala Dev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narinderpal Deol. The NAGALAND FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narinderpal Deol should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Alipriya Iyengar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, NAGALAND FC's Lall Chohan tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lech Wielopolski made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Amarajota Jain sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, NAGALAND FC's Biswaroop Pradhan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anangapala Dev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Lall Chohan rounded Stevens CPR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 40th minute, Lall Chohan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biresvara Kapoor during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. NAGALAND FC's Leil Kumar was substituted for Indrayan Bhardwaj. In the 43rd match minute, Stevens CPR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biresvara Kapoor to maneuver through the defense. Sonam Sokhey kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dhvanamodin Agrawal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lech Wielopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lall Chohan in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Amarajota Jain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Wielopolski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 66th minute Leil Kumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasantha Rathod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Wielopolski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leil Kumar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Wielopolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Wielopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amarajota Jain, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Dhvanamodin Agrawal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narinderpal Deol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Addana Sodhi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lech Wielopolski. Stevens CPR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Addana Sodhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Wielopolski having to interfere. Amarajota Jain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lech Wielopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biresvara Kapoor hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Vasantha Rathod put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lech Wielopolski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasantha Rathod in the 94th minute of play forced Stevens CPR's goalkeeper Lech Wielopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Amarajota Jain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
