Spectators: 10827 (Terracing: 8121, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akrosa Arneja started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Bahulasavan Chakrabarty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Akrosa Arneja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acananas Bhaura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acananas Bhaura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mina Bajwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Mina Bajwa made a precise shot to the right of Acananas Bhaura. Shireoaks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Shireoaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candracarya Dias to maneuver through the defense. Avanindra Kelkar's late challenge caught a Crystal City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avanindra Kelkar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Crystal City booed when Shireoaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avanindra Kelkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shireoaks's zone, Akopa Sharma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acananas Bhaura came out of the goal and Akopa Sharma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahulasavan Chakrabarty hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Shireoaks's goal looked a bit too open when Akopa Sharma came free, but Acananas Bhaura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acananas Bhaura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Lionheart in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Akrosa Arneja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acananas Bhaura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Crystal City were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avanindra Kelkar was the one to do the kick off. Kumar Siamkhuma was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Avanindra Kelkar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shireoaks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Acananas Bhaura came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Crystal City's Mina Bajwa. But to his dismay, Mina Bajwa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Acananas Bhaura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mina Bajwa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Troy Lionheart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acananas Bhaura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Acananas Bhaura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 石寒天 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 85 minute of play. A collision led to Shireoaks getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Candracarya Dias hit a great ball. Acananas Bhaura made an important save on a dangerous shot by 石寒天 in the 96th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 石寒天 got free with Acananas Bhaura in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Crystal City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shireoaks.
