The referee ignored Clanfield's protests and gave Dayanidhi Mondol a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Clanfield got a freekick which was hit by Omar More. If Omar More had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th match minute, Clanfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dayanidhi Mondol to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Mandoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bishwamba Chaudhari in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Shadow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vikrampreet Gopalkrishnan to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Festas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adolfo Festas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kukila Ghai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Festas in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kukila Ghai saved Shadow FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Adolfo Festas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai. Kukila Ghai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bishwamba Chaudhari to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Adolfo Festas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kukila Ghai. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 57th minute, 江震延 made a precise shot to the right of Kukila Ghai. Shadow FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 64 minutes into the match, Adolfo Festas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kukila Ghai, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishwamba Chaudhari in the 68th minute of play forced Clanfield's goalkeeper Cătălin Mandoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes, Clanfield's 江震延 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kukila Ghai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clanfield reached it. 86 minutes into the game, Clanfield's Omar More nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kukila Ghai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 93rd minute, Adolfo Festas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kukila Ghai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clanfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
