The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ansyari Affandy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martinus Tauhid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martinus Tauhid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayeng Sawali in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Kobis FC's Samai Taufiqurrahman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Solecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ansyari Affandy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martinus Tauhid came out and tried to block the shot, but Ansyari Affandy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. When Alwi Siahaan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putra Riunggunung's protests and gave Alwi Siahaan a yellow card for diving instead. Alwi Siahaan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hasan Hutauruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Igor Solecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match, Ansyari Affandy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martinus Tauhid was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Hasan Hutauruk came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kobis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Hutauruk couldn't finish the play. Igor Solecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andik Renata in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Archie Katz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putra Riunggunung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobis FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Putra Riunggunung fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jayeng Sawali made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kobis FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raka Mulia hit a great ball. Archie Katz was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Putra Riunggunung's Archie Katz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jamil Setiadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Igor Solecki made a huge save. A collision led to Kobis FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Samai Taufiqurrahman hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kobis FC's goalkeeper Martinus Tauhid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erol Sumendap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Martinus Tauhid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raka Mulia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Samai Taufiqurrahman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Hutauruk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Kobis FC's Singgih Nadeak got a free kick in the 86th minute. Igor Solecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andik Renata, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Putra Riunggunung manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Kobis FC to win.
