Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarsan Suryata started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Rexy Hutajulu in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rhinoceros CF's David Haryono. Asdi Rinaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarsan Suryata in the 8th minute of play. Asdi Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Le Page in the 9th minute of the match. Idrus Tabusala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tarsan Suryata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Asdi Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarsan Suryata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asdi Rinaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarsan Suryata's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes Onggunoi FC got a freekick which was hit by Frits Kartiko. After 28 played minutes Onggunoi FC got a freekick which was hit by Zulfadli Ekodono. 31 minutes into the match, David Haryono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asdi Rinaldi. Onggunoi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Haryono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bob Le Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Asdi Rinaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhinoceros CF's Tarsan Suryata got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Onggunoi FC's Frits Kartiko got a free kick in the 39th minute. Idrus Tabusala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asdi Rinaldi having to interfere. After the first half Rhinoceros CF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panda Arkananta to make the kick off. M. Ichwan Aritonang kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Tarsan Suryata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarsan Suryata got free with Asdi Rinaldi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarsan Suryata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Asdi Rinaldi made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Zulfadli Ekodono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onggunoi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rhinoceros CF the free kick. Bob Le Page could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Asdi Rinaldi made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Idrus Tabusala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tarsan Suryata in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asdi Rinaldi saved Onggunoi FC from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Rhinoceros CF's Rusli Sujatmiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asdi Rinaldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Tarsan Suryata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarsan Suryata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Asdi Rinaldi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tarsan Suryata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asdi Rinaldi having to interfere. Asdi Rinaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Le Page, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tarsan Suryata in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asdi Rinaldi saved Onggunoi FC from getting behind. Tarsan Suryata scored 0-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asdi Rinaldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Rhinoceros CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Onggunoi FC throughout the match.
