When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zaini Kusdianto sped through TARKAMS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lukita Hadiman. TARKAMS's Bintang Subarkah got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Going to SuperLeague's goalkeeper Hugon Knopek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adnan Surahman. Muchlas Sutisna hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hugon Knopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vennard Anggadikusumah in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for TARKAMS. Syamsir Tutuarima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugon Knopek. 1-1. Hugon Knopek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vennard Anggadikusumah, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Zaini Kusdianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Going to SuperLeague's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zaki Sutrisno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vennard Anggadikusumah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vennard Anggadikusumah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hugon Knopek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Muchlas Sutisna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Endi Pulalo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Going to SuperLeague's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vennard Anggadikusumah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
