If Dương Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Xuan in the 6th minute of play forced ABCHELSEA's goalkeeper Trần Ritchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Thien kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bac Ninh's Trần Huynh Duc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dương Minh in the 9th minute of play. Trần Ritchell came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bac Ninh's Nguyễn Xuan. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Xuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dương Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Huynh Duc having to interfere. Trần Ritchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Xuan in the 29th minute of the match. Nghiêm Bay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trần Ritchell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. ABCHELSEA's Trần Thien got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nghiêm Bay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Ritchell having to interfere. Trần Ritchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nghiêm Bay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When Lê Van Tai Em came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bac Ninh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Van Tai Em couldn't finish the play. Nghiêm Bay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Trần Ritchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Nghiêm Bay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Nghiêm Bay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lê Hoai hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. La Nam succeeded in the game's 64th minute to get real power on a long shot . ABCHELSEA's Trần Ritchell hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! If Nguyễn Xuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dương Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Bac Ninh's Nguyễn Xuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Trần Ritchell. Trần Ritchell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Trần Ritchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nghiêm Bay in the 78th minute of play. Bac Ninh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by La Nam in the 80th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Lê Van Tai Em heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nguyễn Xuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Trần Ritchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, ABCHELSEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Thien to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes ABCHELSEA got a freekick which was hit by Trần Thien. In the 89th minute of the match Bac Ninh got a corner. ABCHELSEA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. La Nam ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bac Ninh's corner Nghiêm Xuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trần Ritchell quite easily take care of the ball. Dương Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Trần Huynh Duc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bac Ninh's Nguyễn Xuan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bac Ninh played a much better game than ABCHELSEA and deserved their victory. The ABCHELSEA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
